Here’s some quick sketches of Mary Poppins and some signature icons: the shoes, the carpet bag, tea pot + cups (for the tea party on the ceiling, of course), and her umbrella. I am starting to work on a book cover project for my story illustration class. I plan on illustrating a Mary Poppins book cover, but there will be a unique twist. You’ll see!

Hey Tracey! I actually finished it and it’s quite different from these sketches. It came out nice but the vibe didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to! That’s why I haven’t posted it yet… Maybe I’ll show ya at my place sometime. : )
